Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team for a 13-week contract in Henderson, North Carolina. The position runs a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and focuses on providing comprehensive care to mothers and newborns before, during, and after childbirth.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in Labor and Delivery, current NRP and BLS certifications, plus experience with couplet care, fetal monitoring, and NICU exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current NRP and BLS certifications.
• Experience with couplet care and LDRP; NICU exposure is a plus.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to join our team. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after childbirth, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for both mothers and infants.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options effectively.
• Support mothers through the labor process and provide emotional support.
• Perform necessary assessments and interventions throughout the labor and delivery process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (advanced is preferred).
• Couplet care and LDRP experience; some NICU experience is desirable.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
