Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Travel RN for the Mother Baby unit in Denver, CO. This 13-week assignment includes night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, with 12-hour shifts and a 3-4:1 patient ratio across a 23-bed unit staffed by 80 members. Responsibilities include newborn education and bedside nursing in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of current postpartum/mom-baby hospital experience and hold a valid RN license. BLS and NRP are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year hospital Postpartum/Mom Baby experience.
• BLS and NRP required or preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding.

Description:Travel RN position for Postpartum unit.This unit has 23 beds and approximately 80 staff members.Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9-10 RNs on the floor, and 2-3 RNs in the nursery during night shifts.Patient ratios are estimated at 3-4:1.The main computer system utilized is CPN EMR - Meditech / CPN.Candidates must possess the ability to educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding.Candidates should be compassionate, patient, and team-oriented.Communication with staff and providers is a priority for this role.Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt quickly to new situations are essential.
