Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York, NY is seeking a Registered Nurse on the day shift (12-hour shifts) to deliver expert patient care using the nursing process and to collaborate with all disciplines on the unit.

The ideal candidate holds New York State RN registration, a BSN, and a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Experience in critical care or med-surg/ED is preferred; BLS and ACLS are required, with CCRN and med-surg certifications encouraged.

Day Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)

Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.

Requirements:
  • Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • BSN Required.
  • 1 - 2 years Critical Care experience preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years med surg or ED experience required.
  • Acute care surgical patients experience preferred.
  • Current BLS required
  • Current ACLS required.
  • CCRN certification preferred.
  • Med-Surg certification preferred.
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.

Salary Range: $59.144/hr - $68.028/hr (Commensurate with Education)

Days w/ eo wknd & hols; 7a-7:30p
