Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an ICU RN for MICU in Falls Church, VA. This 13-week assignment includes 12-hour day/night rotations and a 36-hour week.

You will care for stepdown patients (up to 3 per shift) on Epic EMR, with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio. RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required. Weekend and holiday rotations apply; orientation provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ICU RN experience.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required.
• RN license is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Description:Looking for an ICU nurse.Must have BLS certification and ACLS certification.We are seeking ICU RNs with at least 2 years of experience.Weekend requirement is 5 shifts every 6 weeks.Holidays will be every other holiday.First to float to other units as needed.24 beds in the unit.EMR system used is Epic.Patient ratios are 1:3.Floor orientation will last 3 days.Common medication drips include insulin gtts, cardizem, heparin, Lasix, precedex, and low dose pressors.Common types of patients include those with respiratory disease processes, neurological disorders, and chronic illnesses.Scrubs should be navy blue pants and solid navy blue tops or solid white tops.Long sleeve shirts under scrubs must be navy blue or white.
