Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for ICU in Mooresville, IN on a 13-week night shift contract. The unit is an 8-bed ICU with sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, and cardiac cases. The nurse will care for critically ill adults, interpret rhythms, manage ventilators, and titrate vasoactive drips.

Active RN license and BLS/ACLS required. Hours per shift are 12; candidates must be able to float to Med/Surg, PCU, and ED as needed. Community hospital setting with a team-focused culture.

Description:The purpose of this position is to provide exceptional patient care within the ICU.The unit is an 8-bed ICU that manages a diverse range of critically ill patients.Nurses will care for patients experiencing sepsis, respiratory failure, DKA, and cardiac issues.They will also monitor stroke patients and post-operative ICU patients.Patient ratios are typically 1:2 in the ICU.The unit utilizes advanced equipment, including telemetry monitoring systems and mechanical ventilators.Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this role.The work environment is designed for flexibility and adaptability.Nurses must have strong patient-focused skills and the ability to assist across departments during emergencies.Candidates should be comfortable working in a community hospital environment.Dress code includes navy blue scrubs, with restrictions on open-toed shoes and excessive jewelry.All candidates must be willing to float to Med/Surg, PCU, and ED as required.Candidates should also demonstrate experience with sepsis management and code response.This position requires a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
