Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for a MICU assignment in Milwaukee. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an identified adult patient population in an inpatient setting on a 14-week contract with 3x12-hour shifts and every other weekend.

Travel RN experience with MICU background is preferred. Required are an active RN license, BLS and ACLS per AHA, and clinical competence in critical care and trauma care.

Certifications:

• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent.
• AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA approved equivalent.

Must-Have:

• Recent Travel RN experience with MICU experience preferred.
• Critical care float experience preferred.
• Level 1 trauma experience.
• Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations.
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of an accredited School of Nursing.

Description:The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.This individual demonstrates competency in delivering care to a primarily adult population.The Staff RN-Inpatient role incorporates essential functions adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.EPIC Tele Testing is required in the first week with two attempts to pass.Navy scrubs are required.Every other weekend is mandatory, and no call is required.The nurse may need to float to other ICUs, step-down units, or acute care units if needed.
