StarCare Specialty Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join its Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team in Lubbock, TX. The RN provides comprehensive nursing services, oversees medication management, and coordinates with psychiatric and medical providers to support continuity of care.

The role involves education, assessments, and promoting overall wellness, with a hybrid work arrangement and a competitive benefits package. BSN preferred and Texas RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN licensure in Texas.
• Texas driver’s license and insurability.
• Pre-employment and annual screenings as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing services per accepted practices, guidelines, and contractual requirements.
• Oversee medication management, including self-administration, counts, and IM injections.
• Monitor lab draws and results and coordinate with providers.
• Conduct health and medication education for clients, families, and staff.
• Meet contractual performance targets for medication tasks (e.g., pillbox prep, injections).
• Communicate with supervisors, staff, and stakeholders within the same business day.
