Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will use the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Minimum of 3 years bedside experience and a current RN license are required. A sign-on bonus is available for experienced RNs, with Mercy supporting ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years bedside related experience.
• Graduate from a school of nursing (ASN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain current RN license and state requirements.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or equivalent.

Position Details:

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Mercy Carthage is a 25-bed hospital serving the Carthage and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years bedside related experience
• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period
