Job summary

Mercy Carthage is seeking an experienced RN to provide patient care using the nursing process, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. You will coordinate care with other departments and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years bedside experience, graduation from a nursing program (AD, Diploma or BSN), and a current RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years bedside related experience.
• Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure per state requirements.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or course completed within probationary period.

Responsibilities

Position Details:

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Mercy Carthage is a 25-bed hospital serving the Carthage and surrounding areas.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years bedside related experience
• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period
