Job summary

Mercy Carthage is a 25-bed hospital serving Carthage and surrounding areas. The RN role emphasizes direct patient care using the nursing process, coordination with departments, and upholding patient rights.

A sign-on bonus is available for experienced RNs, with no contract required. Candidates must have at least 3 years bedside experience, be a graduate of an approved nursing program, hold an active RN license (state or compact), and maintain AHA Provider certification or complete it during

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3 years bedside related experience.
• Education: Graduate from a school of nursing (ASN, Diploma or BSN).
• Licensure: Active RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Certifications: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or equivalent within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process and maintain professional accountability.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years bedside related experience
• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Must have American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probationary period
