Job summary

Avita Health System in Ontario, OH is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the MedSurg Department on a regular part-time schedule. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care, coordinate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families while ensuring quality outcomes.

Required: current Ohio RN license, BLS (within 30 days) and ACLS (within 6 months). Telemetry experience preferred; 2+ years' nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• BLS Certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.
• ACLS Certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience (preferred).
• Previous telemetry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient needs.
• Coordinate care across shifts with nursing staff and assistants.
• Act as patient advocate and educator in line with Avita Health System mission.

We're currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurgDepartment at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs within the nursing unit. Ensures continuity of care across shifts through direct care and supervision of nursing assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and support staff. Acts as a patient advocate and educator, supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and values.

Qualifications

Required:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.

BLS Certification or obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.

ACLS Certification or obtained within six (6) months of hire.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of nursing experience.
• Previous telemetry experience.
