Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department at the Ontario location in Ohio. This Regular Part-Time role offers a commitment bonus up to $5,000 and the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting.

The RN will coordinate care planning with interdisciplinary teams, prioritize patient needs, and respond quickly to changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within one year of hire.
• 1–2 years RN experience within the last 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Meet psychosocial, physical, and general care needs of patients.
• Determine priorities of care based on patient needs and flow.
• Communicate changes in patient status to ED physicians.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our EmergencyDepartment at our Ontario location.

Position Overview

Provides professional nursing care within the Emergency Department; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with ED physicians regarding changes in patient’s status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• Current BLS Certification.
• ACLS certified within 3 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC within one year of hire.

Preferred:

• 1 – 2 years Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
