ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 20-bed Med-Surg unit serving adult and pediatric patients. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 12-hour night shifts and flexibility to cover other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ideal candidates have 3 years med-surg and 1 year pediatric experience, plus BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Compensation includes benefits and travel support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of med-surg experience.
• One (1) year of pediatric experience.
• Current American Heart Association certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical Unit specializing in adult geriatrics and pediatric patients. The unit features excellent staffing ratios, with a typical non-COVID ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 and a COVID ratio of 2:1 or 3:1.

Responsibilities

• Caring for both adult and pediatric patients in a 20-bed unit.
• Administering medications and supporting patient care.
• Participating in staff meetings and potentially assisting in Flu Immunization clinics.
• Floating to other departments as competent and necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Three (3) years of med-surg experience.
• One (1) year of pediatric experience.
• Current American Heart Association certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• The candidate must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients.
