Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Texas license.
• Two years experience caring for individuals in a long-term care setting or instructor in a school of nursing, for a facility training program.
• Two years experience employed in a correctional setting or an instructor in a school of nursing, for a correctional facility program.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach continuing Education courses for Medication Aides using approved syllabus/outline.
• Maintain daily attendance rosters and input final grades.
• Submit final hard copies of attendance rosters and grade sheets to the Continuing Education Health Care department.
• Utilize a variety of teaching styles and instructional technologies to accommodate diverse student learning needs.
