Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a part-time Medication Aide Instructor for Continuing Education, teaching in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need. The role emphasizes developing and using diverse teaching methods to accommodate students with different backgrounds and experiences, while maintaining clear communication on course outcomes and schedules.

The instructor will monitor attendance, assign and input final grades, and ensure alignment with Course Syllabus

Qualifications

Must be able to design and deliver courses for Medication Aides using approved syllabi.
Ability to adapt teaching styles to diverse student backgrounds and learning needs.
Proficiency in instructional technologies and online resources to support instruction.
Expert knowledge in Medication Aide procedures and related health care regulations.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned Continuing Education courses for Medication Aides across times/locations as needed.
Develop and use varied teaching methods and materials to meet course outcomes.
Evaluate student progress and maintain grade records.
Provide students with a clear syllabus detailing goals, requirements, and schedule.
Maintain attendance rosters and submit final grades to the department.
