Job summary

Advocate Health’s Mercy location is seeking a registered nurse for full-time night shifts on the 6 South Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm–7am, with weekend and holiday requirements.

The 34-bed unit provides exposure to diverse diagnoses and patient care experiences. Qualified candidates will have 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred (minimum 6 months), and hold an active RN license in the state plus BLS.

Qualifications

• 1 year inpatient nursing experience preferred; at least 6 months required outside the New Grad residency program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
