Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio seeks a part-time Registered Nurse (Medical/Surgical) to provide care as part of a multidisciplinary team, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. The RN completes assessments, maintains care plans, teaches patients, administers medications, and coordinates care across departments.

Required: current RN license in state or compact; BLS preferred; BSN preferred; new grads considered with <1 year experience. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and a mission-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state they are working or covered by compact.
• BLS Basic Life Support (preferred; must obtain before direct patient care)
• RN-BC, CCRN, PCCN or CMSRN certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Administers medications safely and documents progress.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Provides patient and family education throughout hospital stay.
• Supports discharge planning and follow-up needs
