Job summary

Mercy Health in Youngstown, OH seeks a Registered Nurse in the Medical/Surgical unit to deliver patient care using the nursing process. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, assess patients, and develop care plans, while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role is part-time, with 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, requiring an active RN license in the state or compact, BLS/ACLS per policy, and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience required; new grads considered with relevant clinical exposure.
• BSN preferred; current RN license in state or compact is required.
• Basic Life Support required; ACLS acceptable in lieu of BLS.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, document assessments and plan of care.
• Administer medications safely and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support discharge planning and patient education throughout hospitalization.
