Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• BCLS is required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care are preferred and must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
• Documents patient care provided; documents medical necessity in the medical record with timely, accurate entries.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family; performs timely QI assessments.
