Job summary

North Alabama Shoals Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Rehabilitation department during night shifts. The ideal candidate will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, and maintain care for patients according to their condition. Applicants should have a current state RN license and preferred experience of one year.

Qualifications

• One year of experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
