BioLife Plasma Services, Methuen, MA, is seeking a Medical Support Specialist to determine donor eligibility, manage donor adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable tests. You will work under the Center Manager and Center Physician, following SOPs and EHS guidance, while supporting vaccination programs and occupational health processes.

The role requires EMT/RN/LPN licensure and CPR/AED certification, plus two years in a clinical setting, and FDA training for BioLife

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent, including completion of a recognized educational nursing program.
• Current EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P license or RN/LPN license in the state of responsibility.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilidades

• Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma and manage donor adverse events.
• Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results.
• Follow SOPs and Center Physician guidance for medical issues and emergencies.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical or technical guidance as needed.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/ER as required.
• Refer to EHS guidance for employee incidents.

Educación

EMT license (EMT-B/EMT-A/EMT-I/EMT-P) or RN/LPN license

CPR and AED certification

High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate per state requirements
