Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical Imaging support. The role involves floating between imaging modalities, with a day shift schedule from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within a high-volume, electronic hospital environment. The position requires a current RN license in the state of practice and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice; temporary/interim RN license acceptable where allowed.
• BLS certification is required; additional certification may be required based on area of practice.
• Banner Registry and Travel roles require a minimum of one year in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and discharge planning.
• Formulate and update care plans with patient/family input and multidisciplinary team.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care, including delegation and supervision of staff.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed, including patient and family teaching.
• Document care activities clearly in the patient record and ensure timely communication with the care team.
• Participate in quality improvement and education activities to enhance patient outcomes.
