Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic procedures in ED, in‑house, outpatient and OR settings, ensuring high‑quality images and patient care.

You will work day shift with multiple schedules, require ARRT certification and BLS, and typically have 1 year of experience. Banner Health provides a supportive team and electronic medical records environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensure by the state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification required.
• This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with 1 year of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, analyze data and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and analysis according to departmental guidelines.
• Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed as well as risk factors and prevention.
• Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation.
• Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable.
• Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements and maintains a safe environment.
