Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Imaging Nursing Support team at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Day shift, Monday–Friday with weekend call rotation.

You will provide patient care within imaging, monitor patients, support sedation and monitoring, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient procedures. Applicants must hold an active RN license, BLS, and have a background in acute care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Acute care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychological and social needs.
• Plan and coordinate nursing care with the imaging team.
• Monitor patients during procedures and assist with sedation.
• Document care, communicate status to physicians and team.
• Teach and support patients and families throughout imaging process.
