Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH is seeking a dedicated RN for the Medical Intensive Care Unit. You will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, implement care plans, monitor conditions, and educate families as part of a fast-paced team.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience, current RN license, BLS, with ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN) required.
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN); Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
