Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights, OH is hiring an ICU RN to join a Magnet-designated facility delivering high-quality patient care.

You will provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor care plans, track patient conditions, coordinate discharges, educate patients and families, and administer medications according to protocol. Relocation assistance and loan repayment programs are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS Certification required.
• ACLS certification required upon hire or within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families using educational materials.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocol.

About This Role

As an RN in the ICU at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care in a Magnet-designated facility, utilizing advanced medical technology and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Requirements

Education:

• Military RN experience considered.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year.
