Job summary

Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH is seeking an RN for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit to deliver direct, high‑quality care from admission to discharge while educating families.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree (Diploma/ADN/BSN), BLS; ACLS within one year; and at least one year of acute hospital experience. Relocation assistance and loan repayment are available. This is a full‑time day shift opportunity with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required.
• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required upon hire or within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to nursing protocols.
