Job summary

Compass Connections is hiring a Registered Nurse in El Paso, Texas to support health services for children in our emergency shelter and group homes. The role focuses on care coordination, clinical assessments, and documentation while ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Texas, maintains BLS/CPR, and has at least 1 year of public health or healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year employment experience in public health or healthcare with care coordination experience.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state and BLS (PALS preferred) and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain federal and state guidelines for the position.
• Maintain medical documentation per federal guidelines and portal processes.
• Provide patient safety through assessment, triage, monitoring, vaccines, medications and patient education.
