Job summary

El Paso Children's Hospital Corporation is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise a clinical team in a multi-specialty center in El Paso, TX. The role includes overseeing patient care and staff, coordinating preceptor activities, and contributing to unit improvements.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN, an active RN license, and BLS; ACLS and PALS are required, with NRP, STABLE, and TNCC/ENPC certifications desirable. Fluency in English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of RN experience, preferably in a clinic setting or in a charge nurse role.
• Current RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS & PALS.
• NRP, STABLE, APHON, TNCC, ENPC certifications as applicable.
• Willingness to supervise and develop staff.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, supervises team functions and manages delegated projects.
• Coordinates preceptor activities and unit-specific systems/activities.
• Ensures continuity of patient care across shifts and clinical areas.
• Provides age-appropriate clinical nursing care within scope of practice.
