Job summary

55 Compass Connections in San Antonio, TX is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Heritage facility. The role focuses on care coordination, documentation, and direct patient care for children in emergency shelter and group home placements.

Requires an active RN license in Texas, BLS (PALS preferred), and a minimum of one year in public health or healthcare. English and Spanish fluency are required; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm. 100% employer-paid benefits available from day one.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state program (licensure current)
• BLS certification (PALS preferred)
• First aid and CPR certifications
• Minimum 1 year in public health or healthcare with care coordination
• Pediatric nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Meet and maintain federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Accurate medical documentation per federal guidelines.
• Conduct clinic duties and health assessments with PHI protection.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments as ordered.
• Coordinate health-care appointments and transportation for patients.
