Job summary

Southcoast Health in Fall River, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Atwood 4 on a 47-bed medical telemetry unit. This 36‑hour weekly position covers evening/night shifts with weekend and holiday rotation at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

You will coordinate total nursing care, teach patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to uphold professional nursing standards while delivering age-appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• BLS certification.
• Three (3) months of experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt by signing a statement.

Responsibilities

Schedule & Location

Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: Evening/Night shift, 7:15 pm – 7:15 am with weekend and holiday rotation
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital – Fall River, MA
Unit: Atwood 4 – 47‑bed medical telemetry unit serving patients with complex medical conditions such as sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMI, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute/chronic kidney disease.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designated unit designee, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching, and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nurses and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Three (3) months of experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID‑19, or be exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement.

Benefits & Compensation

Pay Range: USD $40.74 – $73.18 per hour. Compensation determined by level of experience.
