Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Medical/Telemetry unit at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role is 36 hours with Eve/Night shifts and an every-other-weekend/holiday rotation.

The unit handles a diverse telemetry census and offers teamwork, ongoing skills development, and a strong community focus. MA RN licensure and BLS are required, with vaccination or approved exemption.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Over three months up to and including one year experience is preferred.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from vaccination by signing a statement at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership by working with the care team.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice within the unit to match patient age groups served.

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for the Med/Tele unit

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Eve/Night, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Exciting opportunity on SK2!! A busy medical telemetry unit with an average daily census of 24 patients. Excellent department to encounter a variety of diagnoses that challenge and develop clinical skills. We are known for our teamwork and for the sense of community among the staff.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or Designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patient regularly, served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.

• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $40.35 - USD $71.76 /Hr.
