Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and COVID-19.

We are searching for an EXPERIENCED RN for the Med/Surg Unit

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Eve/NIGHT, 7:00pm - 7:00am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Welcome to Atwood 3! This is a 4 5-bed primary surgical nursing unit with subspecialties of general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, urology and vascular surgeries along with interventional radiology procedures. We are also a bariatric surgical center of excellence. Our patient population is primarily elective surgical cases that we receive from the recovery room and ranges in age from pediatric through geriatric. We provide basic arrhythmia detection via wireless Telemetry for the surgical patient population. Our average length of stay is 3 days.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID‑19 virus or be exempt for medical or personal reasons.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
