Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med/Tele unit at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This 36-hour position covers Evening/Night shifts (7:15pm–7:15am) with weekend/holiday rotation.

The role involves coordinating nursing care, patient and family teaching, and leading the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for adults with complex medical conditions. MA RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt with a signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for patients on the unit.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and provide leadership with the care team.
• Ensure care appropriate to the age group served.

We are searching for a talented RN for the Med/Tele unit

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: Evening/Night shift, 7:15pm - 7:15am with weekend and holiday rotation

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Atwood 4 is a 47 bed medical telemetry nursing unit.The patient population consists of individuals with multiple medical problems including, but not limited to: sepsis, stroke, seizures, NSTEMI's, heart failure, COPD, atrial fibrillation, and acute/chronic kidney disease.The goal of Atwood 4 is to provide comprehensive and collaborate patient care by skilled health care providers to optimize patient care and quality of life, while striving to deliver excellence in patient satisfaction. Responsibilities

Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay Range

USD $42.37 - USD $77.81 /Hr.
