Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health’s Jersey Shore University Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, administer medications with bar-scanning tech, document care in real time, and educate patients and families to promote health and wellness.

NJ nursing license and BLS/CPR required; BSN preferred; minimum one year med-surg or telemetry experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid New Jersey RN license.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of med/surg or telemetry nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly with strong teamwork and patient-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to evidence-based standards to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
• Maintain ongoing communication with patients, families, and health care team.
• Administer medications using bar-scanning and documentation technologies.
• Document patient assessments, plans, interventions, and evaluations in real time.
• Provide patient and family education to optimize health outcomes.
• Assist in multidisciplinary discharge planning to ensure safe transition of care.
