Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Medical Telemetry Unit at Temple, Texas. The unit offers a high level of direct patient care, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for learning across a spectrum of medical diagnoses.

This full‑time role includes night shifts (7pm–7am), a 36‑hour week, and benefits. We value collaboration, clinical excellence, and a supportive governance model that empowers nursing practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of RN School of Nursing.
• ADN required.
• Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of starting in this role.

We Have a Varied Medical/telemetry Population Including

• Sepsis
• Pulmonary Conditions or Respiratory Distress
• Chest Pain
• Infection
• Patients requiring isolation; including to negative airflow rooms
• Patients requiring skin and wound care including wound vacs
• Patients requiring scopes, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, central line placement, paracentesis, angio-cath, pacemaker insertions and chest tubes.
• Enteral Feeding Tube Insertion and Maintenance
• Patients requiring Cardiac monitoring
• GI abnormalities
• Trach care
• Genitourinary abnormalities
