Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role requires a BSN within four years (or equivalent experience) and MT RN licensure with BLS at hire. The unit handles adult medical patients, including respiratory, cardiac and sepsis cases, with observation patients as needed. A sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• BSN required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• Preferred: National Certification in area of practice

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients psychological and physical needs
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
• Communicate compassionately and effectively
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
• Participate in clinical team conferences
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures
