Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Night Shift RN for a 26-bed medical floor at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation, and coordination of patient care with an interdisciplinary team.

A BSN is required within four years, with state RN licensure and BLS on hire. The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for applicable candidates, and requires the ability to work nights on a full-time basis.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• National Certification in area of practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with patients' and families' best interests in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
