Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. The role emphasizes patient-centered care on a 26-bed medical unit with a night schedule and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 where applicable. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.

Requirements include a BSN within 4 years (or exemption per policy), MT RN license, and BLS. Prefer national certification in area of practice.

Qualifications

• BSN Degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• National Certification in area of practice (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures.
