Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred; ADN or diploma acceptable.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Basic EKG competence.
• Certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing preferred.
• Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• CPI Blue Card within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour nursing care and manage patient care plans.
• Perform nursing assessments and update IPOC and care plans.
• Communicate using SBAR during hand-offs and with the care team.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning with care managers.
• Uphold the hospital mission, core values, and patient-centered care.
• Document care per unit policies and monitor patient responses.
