Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital seeks a Clinical Staff Nurse with a solid background in critical care nursing to provide 12-hour, patient-centered care across assigned units.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate care using the Watson Model of Care while supporting patient/family engagement and safety standards. The role requires California RN licensure, at least one year in Critical Care, and ACLS/BLS certifications; bilingual Spanish skills and EMR experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of one year of clinical nursing experience in Critical Care.
• Current California Nursing license.
• Certification in Critical Care Nursing preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish).
• Basic computer skills required; EMR experience preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certifications from the American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 12-hour, patient-centered nursing care.
• Perform nursing assessments and plan of care using nursing process.
• Document care in IPOC, SBAR, and hospital policies.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning for assigned patients.
• Uphold regulatory standards and participate in quality improvement.
