Job summary

Carle Health's 9A Medical-Surgical unit is seeking an experienced RN to provide high-quality care for medical and surgical patients aged 17 and older. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and thorough documentation across interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• RN license required and BLS within 30 days of hire.
• HS Diploma/GED with an Associate’s degree preferred.
• Basic life support certification must be current within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform RN care and document per unit standards.
• Assess patient on admission and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and coordinate care with team.
• Maintain patient safety and effective communication.
