Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the 9A Medical-Surgical unit in a fast-paced environment. You will perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality care.

You will maintain documentation, develop care plans, and ensure patient safety while supporting patient families and staff. A sign-on bonus is available for External Applicants with a 1-3 year commitment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed RN in state of practice (Illinois IDFPR noted in posting).
• Experience on medical-surgical unit and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and document care.
• Develop and update care plans with the care team based on patient needs.
• Ensure patient safety, follow unit standards, and communicate with the team.
