Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Ortho Unit. You will provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care in a 24/7 operation.

The RN is accountable for nursing practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing, with responsibilities in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. BLS and Ohio RN license required; BSN preferred after 5 years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio (or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate response to care and revise plans with the team.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement to improve quality and cost metrics.
• Operations: support safe, efficient unit operations as part of a 24/7 workflow.
