Job summary

OhioHealth in Ohio seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across diverse, acute settings. The RN delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs using the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, and plans, implements and evaluates care for assigned patients.

This 36-hour-per-week day-shift role includes every other weekend and operates in a High Reliability Organization focused on safety, quality and efficiency in patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or multi-state compact license in good standing.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - Performs initial, ongoing, and functional health status assessment.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - Documents planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Implementation/Evaluation - Evaluates response to nursing interventions and revises plan of care as needed.
• Leadership - Participates in process improvement to improve clinical quality and customer satisfaction.
• Operations - Performs day-to-day nursing responsibilities.
