Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Med/Surg Oncology unit at Suburban Hospital. You will coordinate care for patients on a 12‑hour shift (7pm–7am), guiding the team to achieve optimal outcomes and maintain safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have an ADN (BSN preferred) with RN eligibility, CPR certification, and at least six months of nursing experience. Johns Hopkins Health System emphasizes safety, equity, and professional growth.

Med/Surg Oncology
The Registered Nurse coordinates care for assigned patients on a shift to promote the achievement of clinical outcomes. Provides direction to other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Provides evidence-based practice care based on the nursing process policy, procedures, and protocols. Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient care outcomes. Participates and promotes quality clinical improvement by supporting standards within a given care setting. Practices and promotes responsible cost effective use of resources. Completes all identified annual requirements and competencies for the patient population, care setting, department, and institution. Participates in the performance appraisal process. Demonstrates organizations core values on a consistent basis.

Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
