Job summary

Carle Health is hiring for an RN on the NT6 Observation unit. The unit provides acute care on a 35-bed, fast-paced setting with 24–48 hour patient stays, and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5–6.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for External applicants with 3-year commitment. Responsibilities include conducting initial assessments, developing plans of care, administering meds, maintaining documentation, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• RN license required upon hire.
• Nursing Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment upon patient admission and develop plan of care.
• Implement plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of nursing care and ensure patient safety.
• Communicate with the healthcare team and participate in staff meetings as needed.
