Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the NT6 Observation unit. The 43-bed unit provides acute care for diverse conditions with a typical 24- to 48-hour stay. The role involves fast-paced teamwork with physicians, educators, and nurses to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates have an RN license, a nursing diploma, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for external applicants with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• RN license upon hire.
• Nursing diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities on the unit as per scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care and plans.
• Completes initial admission assessment and develops care plan.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions.
