Job summary

St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual patient needs. The role emphasizes compassionate care, adherence to nursing standards, and patient safety within a Magnet-designated facility.

Earn a $20,000 sign-on and up to $8,000 relocation assistance for eligible hires. This is a .90 FTE position on FT night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am) across three 12-hour shifts per week.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active and unencumbered RN License in state of employment.
• One year RN experience.
• Physical requirements include lifting and exertion as described.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.
• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome; develop and implement patient plan of care with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection; maintain patient charts accurately.
• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in the chart; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Provide patient/family education by assessing readiness and needs; deliver and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
