Job summary

The Emergency Department at St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse who will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and families, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

You will promote patient safety, perform nursing assessments, develop and implement plans of care, document outcomes, and educate patients and families, all while adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act and our

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required.
• Active and unencumbered RN license in state of employment.
• One year of recent Med/Surg RN hospital experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS, ENPC/PALS, NIHSS, NRP, and TNCC within 6 months of hire.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequent extended standing.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions and maintain charts accurately.
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic record.
• Educate patients and families; promote health, safety, and rights.
• Collaborate to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care.
